It is a ladder pattern style chain, which means that the chains go straight across. Gonna be really good for starting and stopping. Not as great for coverage and turns. more

These are some of the more aggressive chains that we fit and they're gonna help you a lot with pretty inclement conditions like heavy snow and ice compared to a smaller length size or maybe a diamond pattern chain that would be used for less severe conditions. These are a ladder pattern size chain which means that they go straight across the tire. They're gonna be helpful when you're starting and stopping but they're gonna be a little bit bumpier on the ride. You're definitely gonna feel that a little bit more. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these Konig XD-16 Pro Diamond Pattern Snow Tire Chains on a 2022 Ram 2500. These are tire chains that you're gonna want to have in the event that you're somewhere that gets a decent amount of light snow and ice. They are a diamond pattern tire chain which gives you a lot more coverage on the tire and they're helpful for turns. Additionally, the square links are therefore biting into the snow and ice. They're a little bit more low profile than some of the other ones. more

These are some pretty aggressive chains. They would be used in heavier snow and icy conditions compared to something that has a little bit smaller length that might be used for just sort of emergency case only situations. Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains on the 2021 Ram 2500. These are your diamond pattern style chains, and they are going to give you a much smoother ride compared to your ladder style chains. The ladder style are gonna give you a more effective start and stop, but the diamond style chains are gonna give you just better traction all around since you have more coverage on the tire with the chains, and the square links on this specific model is going to give you better traction as well. These chains are made out of a nickel manganese alloy steel construction, so they are gonna be very durable, last a long time, as well as being corrosion and rust resistant. Main things that I like about this chain is that they are simple to install, I don't have to crawl on my hands and knees and reach under the tire, I can just do it all right here. So when you're using these, the weather is usually bad, and so, having a simple, easy install makes this less of a pain. more

Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Titan Snow Tire Chains on the 2021 Ram 2500. These are your lighter style tire chains, and while they're not gonna be as smooth as your diamond pattern style, these are gonna give you a lot more effective starts and stops, especially the V-bars on the links themselves are just gonna cut through that deep snow and thick ice, giving you that extra traction that you need. The built in cam tighteners make it very quick and simple to secure the chains onto your vehicle. And they are made out of a low-carbon steel, so they are very strong and durable. You definitely wanna make sure that you're not making pavement or you're not making contact on the pavement with these chains as they are gonna wear down on the V-bars, so these are great, if you live in an area where there is a lot of fixed snow and ice. To install our chains, we are gonna lay them out flat, making sure there are no kinks in our links and notice since these are the V-bars, we want them sticking up and not on the inside of our tire, as well as these hooks right here, we want them on the outside of our tire as well. more

These are your diamond pattern style snow chains, and they are gonna give you a much smoother ride compared to your ladder style, and while the ladder style does give you more effective starts and stops, these are just gonna give you better overall traction since there's more coverage on the chains on your tire. These are made out of a manganese nickel alloy steel, so they're gonna be very durable, last a long time, as well as being corrosion resistant. And the square links themselves will give you just a little bit better traction, definitely more traction than the rounded style. We do have more aggressive style chains with the V-bars, but these will work perfectly against your deep snow and ice as well. I like that it has a built in self-tensioner, so there's no extra parts that you have to keep track of and not an additional cost. more

Now the tire size on our ramp today is 275, 70 R18. So just double check the size of your tires, make sure that they're the same or that they'll just at least fit with these chains. Now, it's never a bad idea to keep a set of chains in your Ram, especially if you live in an area where you're required to, or if you're just going to be getting some heavy snow and ice, where if you don't have four wheel drive, or you do have four wheel drive and it's just not cutting it, then you can throw these chains on, get you that extra traction so you can stay on the road.These are going to be some pretty heavy duty chains from Pewag. more

Now the tire size for our Ram today, you can find it on the sidewall. It's going to be 27570 R-18, so double-check your Ram, make sure the tire size is the same, or if it's a different tire size, make sure that these chains will fit that tire size. Now it's never a bad idea to keep a set of chains in your Ram, especially if you live in an area where you're required by law to have a set in your truck, and these V-Bar stud chains are probably going to be some of the most aggressive ones you can get.The V-Bar studs are welded to the cross-links with these twist link chains. These are going to dig into that really thick snow and ice that you might be experiencing, give you the extra traction that you need to be able to stay on the road and stay safe. more

Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan chain V-Bar snow tire chains with cam tensioners on our 2013 Ram 2,500. So these are going to be probably one of the more aggressive chains you can get right now. It's going to be a lot more aggressive than even your twist link because it is a twist link, but it has this little V right there and that's what gives it its name, V-Bar. These are going to dig into that snow and ice and definitely gets you to and from your destination, regardless of what the snow or ice may be doing on the road. One thing to note though, if it's a thin layer of snow and you put these on, you're probably going to wear them down pretty quickly, and also you might even tear up your driveway or even the road. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chain for your wider base tires on our 2013 Ram 2500.Just to give you my two cents on tire chains, these ladder pattern styles for these bigger wheels are the same in my opinion. Some are more aggressive, some are a little bit smoother of a ride, but one these stand out is the coating that they have. First of all, they look cool in my opinion, but also it's going to be that grade eight coating, so it's going to be a little bit stronger than some of those other ones that are just going to be that treated steel.This is going to have some square links, and they're all going to be uniform throughout all of the chains. They're going to wear pretty evenly. more
